A public exhibition for 'Byron Quarter' our scheme for Harrow Council is being held on Thursday 29th June and Saturday 1st July 2017 at Herga Bowls in Harrow. A map is here and the flyer can be downloaded here.
The next phase of our work for Barking Riverside has been submitted for detailed planning approval. Working alongside Karakusevic Carson Architects, Elliot Wood and Max Fordham we have developed the design for the neighbourhood park, streets and podium courtyards following our earlier work on the landscape strategy for Stage 2 North. Thank you to all those who came to see our proposals for Little Haldens in the Gomm Valley at the weekend, where we are working with Mae and Kjellander Sjöberg architects. The exhibition showed the illustrative masterplan, an overview of the key features of the project and the ecology, energy and landscape strategies.The plans will now be finalised and drawn together in an outline planning application for submission to Wycombe District Council in December.
Concrete contractors Togher have been working hard through the summer heat to finish the structural concrete on the Colville Phase 2 Building F courtyard garden. Waterproofing commences next week with brickwork following in August.

We're just about back in action after a mammoth consultation event in High Wycombe. We had over 200 people through the tent doors over two days and gained some really insighfull feedback on the emerging masterplan for Little Haldens, Gomm Valley.

Periscope has been commissioned by Harrow Council and Friends of Byron Park to produce a Framework Plan for Byron Park. This new piece of work is jointly commissioned and will involve close collaboration with the Friends of the park, Harrow Council, Harrow Parks Forum as well as the Environment Agency and Thames Water. The process kicked off with a resident's consultation event in Harrow Leisure centre, almost 100 people came to have their say providing the design team with really valuable insight into their local area and their hopes for the park.
We've been casting concrete for our latest project in Barking. This is the second prototyping phase using site won aggregates supplied by our client Barking Riverside Ltd. The tests aim to establish the performance of various aggregates including knapped flint, incinerator bottom ash and crushed concrete. The next test phase is a full-scale accelerated pavement test on site ahead of the project construction phase commencing in 2019.
Here's our contribution to this year's Gingerbread City - a Periscope Ponte Vecchio. London's finest gingerbread Architects have been pulling out all the stops in time for the opening on Wednesday 6th December.
We've been shortlisted, as one of five, for the Prescot Market Place competition. The project will re-energise the historic market square and is part of the wider regeneration plans for the town, which include the Shakespeare North Playhouse. Read the full article in the Architects Journal here.
